Industrial Deafness Claim

This is defined as, “the permanent loss of hearing caused by exposure to industrial noise in a worker’s employment”. It does not have to be total hearing loss, just an un-recoverable decrease in hearing ability. Another problem can be Tinnitus, which is the name given to the condition of noises or ringing in the ears or head, with no external noise source.

Workers particularly at risk and who go on to make an industrial deafness claims are usually those who work or have worked in heavy engineering, construction, manufacturing, transport or those using noisy machinery. It is the noise level and the length of exposure to that noise which determines your injury and how successful industrial deafness claims might be, but this can easily be determined with hearing tests.

If you suffer from work related loss of hearing, we can help you pursue an industrial deafness claim. Simply fill in our CLAIM NOW form or call us for free on our Freephone: 0800 811844.
